David van Boele was a son of Abraham van Boele and Batseba Farro. He married 25 November 1908 in Amsterdam Flora van de Wiek, a daughter of Jacob van de Wiek and Naatje Grijsaart. The couple had four daughters; three of them survived the Holocaust but Anna has been killed in the Shoah.
