Elisabeth Roodveldt was a daughter of Gompel Roodveldt and Clara Groen. She married 15 February 1933 in Amsterdam Lion van Praag, a son of Naphtali van Praag and Rachel Vleeschdrager. The couple had two children: their daughter Elly has been killed in the Shoah but her brother, born in 1942, has survived the Holocaust.
Elisabeth had another sister, who has survived the Holocaust but her brother Philip was killed in the Shoah too.
