Sabiena Cohen was a daughter of Philip Cohen and Betje Brook. She married 13 May 1914 in Amsterdam Levie van Praag, a son of Zacharias van Praag and Schoontje Geleerd. Their son Jacques was killed during the Shoah, their daughter has survivid the war.
Sabiena had a baby-sister, who has died in 1890, only 14 months old. Also her mother Betje Brooks passed away already in 1892.
Her father Philip Cohen remarried Johanna Goudschmid in June 1893, however, she passed away 22 May 1914. Her father married for the 3rd time then to Janette de Bruin on 16 May 1922. She was the daughter of Nathan Lijzer de Bruin and Elisabeth de Jong.
Sabiena had 10 halfsisters and halfbrothers, all born in the 2nd wedlock of her father. One of them has died in 1912, only a few months old; seven or perhaps even eight family members have survived the war. Her halfsister Sophie however, born in 1909, was found dead 24 May 1940 in Rotterdam
