Bertha (Baila) Galewski was a daughter of Mozes Galewski and Mirjan Freimann. She was previously engaged, on 28 April 1938 to Jacob Abram Coltof from Den Helder, who survived the war, but she married 25 September 1941 in Rotterdam Alex Marcel van Westerborg, a son of Salomon van Westerborg and Antoinette Elizabeth Fles.
