Eliza Nanette Leefsma was a daughter of Louis Leefsma (deceased in 1932), and Rozette Elzas, who has survived the Holocaust. She married Max Kulb in Amsterdam on 3 Juni 1942, a son of Joseph Kulb and Mirjam Speijer.
She had a brother Benjamin and two other sisters, Esperance Nanette (Erna) and Regina Hanna. They too have been killed in the Shoah.
