Salomon Rozenberg was a son from the second marriage of Heiman Rozenberg to Betje Arends. He married Elisabeth van Emden in Rotterdam on 19 December 1907, a daughter of Hijman van Emden and Susanna de Vries. The couple had five children of whom Hijman and Susanna with her family have been killed in the Holocaust too.
