Adèle Leeuwin was a daughter of Hijman Leeuwin and Rachel de Smitt. She married 1 Februray 1916 Jesaia Visser, a son of Mozes Visser and Esther Hakker. In 1917 their son Maurits was born. Jesaia however passed away on 7 July 1925 and was interred in the Jewish Cemetery at Muiderberg.
On 11 September 1929 Adèle Leeuwin remarried in Amsterdam the elder brother of Jesaia, Jacob Visser, who was also previously married but divorced in 1918. He had a daughter from that marriage. Adèle and Jacob had no children together.
