Vera Pick came together with here brother and sister in 1939 from Austria to the Netherlands. She found temporary shelter in Dieren. In June 1940 Vera was accepted in the Weeshuis (Orphanage) der Doopsgezinden in Haarlem. On 4 October 1940 she returned to Vienna. She was deported on 5 March 1941 from Vienna to Modliborzyce.
