Leendert Boas and Sara Orpes married on 29 June 1904 in Amsterdam. In 1906 Leendert was a witness to the marriage of Esther Lakmaker and Samuel Boas.
From Monday untill Friday, Leendert Boas sold fruit at the Waterloosquare market in Amsterdam. In August 1932 he moved to Lazarussteeg 6 in Amsterdam. In February 1942 het moved to Valkenburgerstraat 146, also in Amsterdam. From 1935 untill 1938 Leendert Boas sold fruit at the Uilenburger market. In Februari 1942 he and his wife returned to selling fruit at the Waterloosquare market.
