Horst Levi was the son of Karl Levi, born on 14th June 1877, and Berta de Vries, born on 10th October 1878. Karl and Berta had six children. Two children survived the war. Berta and Karl died before the war: Berta on the 12th of February 1938 and Karl on the 3th of January 1939.
