Levie Trompetter was a widower. His wife Clara Polak died before the war. The couple had two children of which a daughter died in 1937. Levie Trompetter was a diamond worker. The second child of Levie Trompetter and Clara Polak lived at another address and survived the war.

Records from concentration camp Majdanek (Lublin) show that Levie Trompetter died there at the end of 1942. It is possible these data are different from the official day and place of death as established after the war by the Department of Justice.
