Leonard Maurits de Beer and Sophia Dormits were married at Westerbork transit camp on 17 February 1943. Leonard was a sales representative; his mother was Rebekka Kropveld, deceased. Sophia, no occupation, was a daughter of butcher Meijer Dormits and of Amalie Rosenthal. The parents of the bride attended the marriage ceremony; they signed the marriage certificate.
