In Het Joodsche Weekblad of 8 May 1942 dr. H. Pinkhof wrote an article with the titel: Jewish laws and health.
The death of Dr Hermanus Pinkhof is described in the story ‘Kinderlijkje’ in the book Sterrekinderen by Clara Asscher-Pinkhof (translated into English under the title Star Children).

Hermanus Pinkhof died on 16 July 1943 in Westerbork transit camp and he was cremated on the same day. The urn with his ashes was placed on the Jewish cemetry in Muiderberg on field U, row 2, grave nr. 7.
