Benjamin de Jong was a son of Abraham de Jong and Maaike Cohen. He married 30 October 1918 in Amsterdam to Alida Springer, a daughter of Mozes Springer and Carolina Hakker.
His siblings, who did not survive the Holocaust too were Hartog, Marianne, Jacob, Anna, Wolf, Karel, Rosa and Esther. Two brothers have survived the war.
