About Salomon Charles Velleman

Salomon Charles Velleman, a window dresser, was a son of Elias Velleman, deceased, and of Judikje Frenkel. Sonja van Emmen, a sales woman, was a daughter of merchant Isidore Samuel van Emmen and of Grietje de Leeuw. Salomon Charles Velleman and Sonja van Emmen were married at Westerbork transit camp on 30 August 1943.
Judikje Frenkel, the mother of the bridegroom, attended the wedding; she signed the marriage certificate. Jeanette van Emmen, a sister of the bride, and Hanna Velleman-Frenkel, an aunt of the bridegroom, served as witnesses. They also signed the marriage certificate.
