Gertrud Julie Mosberg was the daughter of Bernard Mosberg and Rosalie Oppenheimer. She studied medicine in Bonn, where she sat for her medical finals on 9 July 1929. Gertrud Julie Mosberg specialized in orthopaedics in Bonn. In 1938 she came to the Netherlands, where she lived at 166 De Lairessestraat in Amsterdam. She had a medical practice at the same address for 'orthopaedics and surgery of the motory organs.' She had another practice at 97 Sarphatistraat.
