Jacob Vieijra was a son of Joseph Vieijra and Marianna Cohen de Murcia. He maried 12 November 1879 in Amsterdam to Margaretha Monnikendam, a daughter of Abraham Salomon Monnikendam and Schoontje Wijnberg. The couple has seven children, of whom one son has survived the war, one son deceased in 1917, 29 years of age. The other children, Marianne, Joseph, Abraham, Mozes and Simon, have been killed during the Holocaust.
