Samuel Slagter was a son of Joseph Slagter and Rebecca Cohen. He married Jeannette Aronius in Amsterdam on 2 March 1892, a daughter of Aron Aronius and Betje de Leeuw. The couple had eleven children together, of whom Veronica died only 1 year old and Wolf and Hermina Clara have survived the Holocaust. But not their other children Rebecca, Betje, Joseph, Salomon, Benjamin, Henriette and Andries.
About their daughter Marianna is further nothing known.
