Christina Scheffer was a daughter of Wolf Scheffer (died in 1917) and Reine Pachter (died in 1950). She was married to Nathan Plukker in Amsterdam on 15 June 1932, a son of Simon Plukker and Betje Schellevis. A few months later, on 14 October 1932 her daughter Betje was born, who stayed in Diemen after the divorce of her parents and who was killed in Auschwitz on 11 February 1944. Christina and Nathan have been divorced on 28 March 1939 and Christina remarried 9 October 1940 the also previously married and divorced Johan Aldewereld, a son of Joseph Aldewereld and Susanna Chatina de Vries. However also this marriage ended in a divorce on 23 February 1942. Johan Aldewereld has survived the Holocaust; Christina Scheffer has been killed 26 October 1942 in Auschwitz.
