Sara Viskoper was a daughter of Benjamin Viskoper and Anna van Bever. She married 23 April 1924 in Amsterdam to Philip de Groot from London, a son of Solomon de Groot and Rose Peper.
Sara was born in a family with seven children. One sister survived the war, however not her husband Sally Swaab. Her other siblings were Raphael, Betje, Marianne, Rebecca and Michel. They all have been killed during the Holocaust.
