About Martha Scheyer-Beuthner

Martha Beuthner (also known as Marthy) was a daughter of Marcus Beuthner and Ernestine Behnsch. Her birth place Köningshütte is now part of Poland and is named Chorzów. She came to the Netherlands on 18 June 1939 and settled in Amsterdam on 17 April 1940. Her last known address is the Michelangelostraat 43. She arrived in Westerbork on 18 May 1943. She was deported to Sobibor the same day. Martha had at least one brother, Bruno Israel Beuthner, who was born in 1880. He was married and lived in Hamburg, Germany. He was killed in Auschwitz, on the 7th of May, 1943.
