Elias Poons was a son of Moses Poons and Sientje Kanis. He married in Amsterdam on 27 March 1913 to Judith Kleerekoper, daughter of Louis Kleerekoper and Duifje Polak.
Elias and Judith had another son Mozes, who lived at another addres in Amsterdam in February 1941.
