David Pach was the son of Samuel Pach and Mathilda Sluis. A couple of months after the death of Mathilda Sluis, David Pach moved in to the Nederlands Israëlitisch Jongensweeshuis Megadle Jethomiem.

David Pach was deported to Sobibor in June 1943 from Vught via Westerbork on the so-called children's transport. He was 13 when he died.
