Barend Lampetje was a son of Gerrit Barend Lampetje and Eva Koekoek. He married in Amsterdam on 17 March 1898 to Naatje Brilleman, daughter of Joseph Brilleman and Brana Broekman.
The couple had two children: Gerrit and Joseph.
