Before the war, Hans Fleischmann lived in Rotterdam. Together with other emigrants from Switzerland, Germany and Dutch actors, he performed in theatres such as Luxor and Arena. He also acted in the German revue "Alles für Sie" that was staged in the Rika Hopper Theatre in 1939. Via Westerbork, he was deported to Theresienstadt. His place of death is unknown, he was reported "missing".
