Henriëtte Céleste Benjamins was previously married to Jacques Emanuel Kloots. She had the two here mentioned children Sem Jacques and Isabella with him. Her second husband is Willem Leopold Cohen who she marries on the 15th of December 1939. She moved with her children and Willem Cohen in 1939/1940 to Arnhem. Her first husband died in Amsterdam on 21 November 1944.

The police commissioner of Arnhem requested that Henriette Celeste Cohen-Benjamins, residing in Arnhem, be located, detained and brought to trial. She had left her place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
