Isaäc Waaker was a teacher at the Jewish religion school in Assen in the years 1938 to 1942. Before that, he was a religious education teacher in Harlingen. When the Jewish children were forced to attend a Jewish school, a primary school was set up in Assen for Jewish children, starting up on 16 September 1941. Isaäc Waaker taught religious education at the school.
