Mozes Lezer was married at Westerbork transit camp on 12 May 1943. His wife survived the war. He was a butcher by trade and the son of butcher Jacob Mozes Lezer and Leentje Salomons.

Mozes Lezer married on 12 May 1943 in Westerbork with a woman he had gotten to know there. On 14 September 1943 they were deported to Auschwitz together.
