Engelina Wagenhuizen was a daughter of Marcus Wagenhuizen and Elisabeth Leger. She married 2 August 1933 in Amsterdam to Hartog Schellevis, a son of Isaac Schellevis and Heintje Blitz.
She had also a sister Henrietta and a brother Jacob who both have lost their lives during the Holocaust too.
