Sera Gerschtanowitz (daughter of the Rotterdam Tuschinski director) was married to Nathan Kleinkramer, son of Hartog Kleinkramer and Cornelia Kleinkramer-den Hartogh. Her parents-in-law lived at 104c Oostzeedijk in Rotterdam. Jewelry was hidden at their home. Sera Gerschtanowitz and her husband intended to flee to Switzerland. Upon returning to the home of his parents to fetch some hidden items of jewelry, Nathan Kleinkramer was caught.
The archive of the Stichting Sieraden-Comité contains a list of the stolen items of jewelry, a statement taken under oath and a statement of the right to inheritance from 1959.
