About Simon Izaak de Winter.

Simon Izaak de Winter, born 8 June 1915 was a scrap-metal dealer. He was born in Rotterdam as son of Jacob de Winter and Sara van der Sluis. He had a brother Levie Israel and a sister Sientje. His parents and siblings were all killed in the Shoah.

Simon Izaak de Winter lived for a long time with his parents at home in the Van der Horststraat 5 in Rotterdam. He moved to Amsterdam per 9 September 1940, after he was married 1 November 1939 in Rotterdam to a non-Jewish woman Hermina Goedheer. They lived at Amstel 25 upstairs but moved after one month to Deurloostraat 121 1st floor in Amsterdam, where they lived in with Mrs. Ida Orbach, who resided there since September 1939.

Simon Izaak de Winter passed away in Amsterdam 23 March 1941 and the funeral records at the Jewish cemetery Toepad in Rotterdam reveal that Simon Izaak de Winter was buried there.
