Simon Philips was a son of Louis Philips and Billa Baer.

Simon Philips was arrested by the Sicherheitspolizei on 8 October 1941. Together with his father Louis Philips and his two brothers Philip and Jacob he was brought to Arnhem. Shortly afterwards they were deported to Mauthausen.
