Benjamin Jacobs and 398584 were married at Westerbork transit camp on 5 July 1943. He was a diamond worker by trade and a son of the deceased Jonas Jacobs and of Esther Slap. Rika Fresco, a seamstress, was a daughter of Salomon Fresco, an office clerk, and of Antje Hes. Joseph Spielman, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, served as a witness at the wedding. He signed the marriage certificate.
