About Salomon Albert Izaks

Salomon Albert was a son of Eliazar Izaks and Henriëtte Izaks-Glaser. He had two brothers and a sister: Gerson, Saartje Henriëtte and David Eduard. The family lived at 83 Voorstraat in Woerden.

When Jews were forced to surrender their bicycles in 1941, Salomon Albert surrendered a Simplex transport bicycle. Salomon Albert Izaks reached Vught concentration camp with the other members of his family on 22 April 1943. On 2 July 1943 he was deported to Westerbork with his father and his brother Gerson. They were taken from there to Sobibor on 6 July 1943, where they were killed on 9 July 1943.
