Abraham Emanuel Sachs was married. In August 1944 he became a father. After his release from camp Westerbork, Abraham Sachs was involved with a resistance group in Winschoten under the name Abraham van Dam. The group printed and distributed leaflets calling for resistance. Together with other members of this resistance group, Abraham Sachs was arrested. He was one of 19 other men who were shot in Dokkum in 1945.

Abraham Emanuel Sachs was a member of the resistance. In January 1945 he was shot at the Woudweg in Dokkum in reprisal for an act of resistance some days before.
