Sara Zinger was a daughter of Mozes Abraham Zinger and Femmetje Tonningen. She had a daughter Jane from her first marriage. She married Mordechai Morpurgo in 1898 in Amsterdam.

Sara Zinger, the widow of Mordechai Morpurgo, and Simon van Kollem, a merchant, had given notice of their intended marriage. Before the wedding could be performed, they were deported.
