Heiman Cohen was a son of Mozes Cohen and Saartje Denneboom. He married Auwina Rozetta Clara de Leve in 1916 in Amsterdam. They had a son Max. In 1923 the couple divorced. In 1929 he married a non-jewish woman. They had two children who survived the war. They also divorced.
