Gerrit Hoepelman married Fanny Leons in 1904. Together they had two children. One child, Karel, did not survive the war. Fanny Leons died in 1911. He remarried with Louisa Leons in 1916. She died in 1931. They also had two children, Louis and Kitty Fanny.
