About Aaltje Fierlier-Swaab

Aaltje Swaab was  a daughter of Levie Swaab and Mietje de Roode. She married 27 Februari 1902 in Rotterdam Barend Fierlier, a son of Nathan Hartog Fierlier and Batje van der Kruk.  The couple had four children, namely the twin Nico and Leon and two daughters, who both have survived the Holocaust.

Barend  Fierlier passed away on 19 August 1934, and Aaltje Swaab moved 19 Augustus 1937 to Hillegersberg,  Juliana van Stolberglaan 46 1st stock. At any time thereafter she moved to Apeldoorn, where she stayed in the  Apeldoornse Bos. In the night of 21/22 January1943 al inhabitants, sick and nurses have been deported to Auschwitz, where upon arrival there all, also Aaltje Swaab, have been killed immediately on 25 January 1943.
