About Hugo Gross

Hugo Gross was a son of Moritz and Rosalie Gross. He was a merchant. Hugo was married. The couple had two children. In 1939, they fled to the Netherlands, where they worked as interpretors/ assistants in the refugeecamp Het Dommelhuis in Eindhoven. They were deported to Westerbork along with the 150 Jewish German boys who also lived at Het Dommelhuis.
Hugo Gross' wife and two children survived the war.
