Kurt Gottschalk is mentioned in a letter of 5 July 1942 in the correspondance in IISG (International Institute of Social History), Archive Jacob ter Meulen, inv. nr. 9.
In the letter it is mentioned that Kurt Gottschalk was not baptised and therefore had to stay in Westerbork, contrary to a rather large group op protestant Jewish refugees.
