Margien Bierman was the widow of Samson Stern. They got married in Meppel in 1876. The couple had ten children: Rebekka, Mozes (died at a young age), Johanna (died in 1931), Benjamin, Jonas, Izak, Jacob, Aron, David and one child that had migrated to the USA before the war.
