Abraham Bronkhorst was a son of Jacobus Bronkhorst and Sara de Jong. He married Lea Lelie in 1912 in Nijmegen. They had three children. Two of them survived the war, the third was Jacobus.
Abraham Bronkhorst was shot in the dunes in Overveen. He is buried on the war cemetery Bloemendaal in Overveen.
