Esther Cardozo was a daughter of Jacob Cardozo and Elisabeth Koekoek. She married 19 August 1914 in Amsterdam to Levie Vos, a son of Barend Vos and Betje de Goede.
She was deported from Mechelen to Auschwitz with Convoy VI on 27 August 1942, togehther with her husband Levie Vos and immediately killed upon arrival there.
Esther was born in a family with five children. She self, and her siblings Jacob, Judith, Sophia and Hendrika have been killed all during the Holocaust.
