About Jakob Rosenberg

On 19 December 1938 over 200 male German refugees over 18 were transferred from Amsterdam to the prison camp Norg in Veenhuizen. On 3 January 1939, 207 of them were transferred to the naval base at Hellevoetsluis. Jakob Rosenberg was among them.

Jakob Rosenberg was a son of Moses Rosenberg and Freide Mahler. He married on 6 March 1940 in Amsterdam. He was interned in Westerbork on 9 April 1940. On 6 September 1944 he was deported from Westerbork to Theresienstadt. On 29 September 1944 he was deported from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz.
