Salomon Smeer was a son of Aron Smeer and Sara Appel. He married in 1903 for the first time. He divorced in 1906. He married Marietje Roeg in 1909 in Amsterdam. After her death he married Rebecca Coronel on 5 November 1941 in Amsterdam.
