About Mozes Oesterman

Mozes Oesterman was the son of the trader Marcus Philip Oesterman and Sophia de Vries. In the 1930s Mozes lived first on Zwanenburgerwal and later on Zaanhof, Amsterdam. He was a member of the Amsterdam society Architectura et Amicitia.

Mozes Oesterman designed together with another architect for the organisation 'Machseh Lajesoumim' (Shelter for the Child) the Centraal Israëlitisch Wees- en Doorgangshuis, Roodenburgerstraat 12 in Leiden, which was finished in 1929.
