About Abraham van Gelderen

Abraham van Gelderen ended up in Sakrau (now Zakrow in Poland) because he was part of the so-called Kosel group. From the Kosel trainstation, circa 80 kilometres from Auschwitz, the men from the Kosel group were brought to several labour camps, among which Sakrau. See for more information on the Kosel group: L. De Jong, Het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden in de Tweede Wereldoorlog VIII (Den Haag 1978) 752-763.
