Mozes Piller was a son of Salomon Piller and Judic Groen. He married Esther Swalleff in 1888 in Amsterdam. She passed away in 1901. They had five children: Salomon, Joseph, Jonas, a child that survived the war and zak (who passed away in 1896). Mozes Piller remarried in 1922 in Amsterdam to Rachel Moffie.
