Abraham Gosler was a son of Hartog Gosler and Roosje Gerritse. He married 24 February 1903 in Weesp to Saartje Gans, a daughter of Jacob Gans and Vogeltje Naarden.
The couple had six children, of whom two sons have survived the war. The other children, namely Hartog, Rosalina, Isaak and Louis have been killed during the Holocaust.
